WHO IS DJ THEORY ?
Ivan "DJ Theory" Rodriguez was Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1983, he moved to grow up in central NewJersey from 1987 to 2002. After DJing his first gig at the age of 15 (wedding in NJ), he knew that his love for music was his passion and now becoming his future career. After spinning at multiple private parties and events in New Jersey, Theory decided to move to SWFL(Southwest Florida) in 2002 to expand his knowledge with different genres of music.
Mr. Rodriguez began to network with many people in the underground hip hop industry. He promoted himself by recording mix tapes with various artists and giving them out for free as he was building up his character, reputation and skills behind the 1s and 2s. This opened many doors as he began to explore the nightlife. He began to spin at multiple night clubs and venues throughout Florida. After living in SWFL, Orlando and Miami, Theory expanded his operation and began to perform at multiple gigs throughout the state of Florida and built a name for himself.
DJ Theory works with all genres of music including EDM, Trap, Twerk, Dubstep, Top 40, Hip Hop, Reggae, RnB, Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue and Salsa. You name it, he's mixed it!! His passion for music is most definitely displayed in his library. Theory specializes in producing exclusive Remixes, Mashups, Bootlegs and full DJ sets that uniquely separate him from the competition. After releasing multiple tracks from commercial to underground music over the years, Theory continues to drop exclusive music! DJ Theory is currently performing at numerous venues in addition to recording in the studio and networking internationally.
